Meet My Crew...Lindsey

This is the first post in a series where I will introduce some of the most important people in my life. Stick around because you never know when you might appear on the ole blog!

I felt it only fitting that the first Meet My Crew post go to my sweet roommate Lindsey. I've known Linds for about two years, but feel like I've known her my whole life. We share similar small town childhoods and good Baptist roots, along with our love for a good book, a high school football game, and Chic-fil-a.
In the short year we've lived together, we've braved a couple of snow storms, ridden out a tornado in our "safe place", watched lots of football games, experienced the near loss of a fingertip (mine, thumb vs. tin can...another story for another day) and lived in a house that nearly fell apart around us. Fortunately, we now live in a house that is "sturdy" and I have all of my appendages.

Lindsey provides lots of entertainment with her stories about recruitment, her high school girls that she mentors, and of course her sweet niece EK. But more than that, Lindsey is the kind of friend that is not afraid to tell me what I need to hear, even when it's not what I want to hear. I can always count on her to speak truth into my life and challenge me to grow into the Godly woman I was created to be. She has taught me to pray for the wisdom to know what to do and the courage to do it. Linds, I am so thankful for you!

It's about time...

...for me to jump on the blogger bandwagon! In typical fashion, I'm a late arrival on the blogging scene, but like they say, better late than never! I've been a closet blog reader for years now, so I figured I should start contributing to the world that keeps me so well informed, entertained, and up on the latest trends.

Some of my very favorite people...Seaside 2011

The Fam Jam

As for the blog title, it comes from one of my favorite passages of Scripture. I am confident that the Lord has a great plan for my life and I am excited about living out this adventure as the next step is revealed. I have been blessed with the most incredible friends here in Birmingham, a job that I love, and an awesome church home. Believing God for all things, I can't wait to see what happens next!

This blog will likely be full of all sorts of randomness, but I'm excited about it, so please let me know that you're reading!
